Park-Grable/Bank of La Mesa Building, 1912
The Park-Grable real estate office/ Bank of La Mesa building (1909-1921) was located on the prominent northeast corner of Lookout Avenue and Spring Street. Noted architect Irving Gill designed this important civic, community and business building. Here residents and Flying A "movie cowboys" pose to promote the newly incorporated city.
History plaques are a community service partnership between Rotary Club of La Mesa and La Mesa Historical Society.
