La Mesa History Center Home Tour Fans Support Our Partners at Mission Hills Heritage for their 19th Annual Historic Home Tour: Mid-Century Modern in Mission Hills This year’s Historic Home Tour is a special one: for the first time, MHH’s is dedicating their entire tour to Mission Hills’ remarkable collection of Mid-Century Modern homes. Step inside several architecturally significant residences, including homes by Frederick Liebhardt, Lloyd Ruocco, and Homer Delawie. You’ll see hillside homes, dramatic canyon views, open courtyards, and the indoor-outdoor design that makes Mid-Century Modern architecture so distinctive. One of the highlights is the Robertson House, a Lloyd Ruocco masterpiece that has never before been open to the public. The house will also feature Mid-Century Modern furniture, including pieces by Eames and John Lloyd Wright, along with paintings by San Diego modernist Richard Marks. If you love Mid-Century Modern architecture, this is one you won’t want to miss! Your attendance directly supports MHH’s mission of preserving our neighborhoods’ historical assets. Saturday, September 26 · 10 AM–2 PM $50 MHH members · $60 non-members Your attendance directly supports MHH’s mission of preserving our neighborhoods’ historical assets.
